CBSE is going to issue the notification for AIPMT 2016. So far only the date for exam commencement is out of the box. As per the official note, AIPMT-2016 will be conducted on May 01, 2016. There may be changes in this date but chances are rare. This year CBSE is going to apply the same restrictions over dress code as it applied during AIPMT 2015 re-examination.
CBSE had to face the anger from the concerned authorities and students due to answer key leak. Apart from CBSE, even the aspirants faced the big difficulties in AIPMT re-test, last year. Candidates were not allowed to wear full sleeve shirts, shoes, watches and belts during the re-examination and same will be followed this year to stop the leakage of paper.
Note: Full AIPMT Notification 2016 is expected to be released in the third week of December 2015 month.
About the Test: All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is basically a entrance examination for medical courses. The test is conducted by CBSE on annual basis. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi organizes this test for admission to M.B.B.S and B.D.S courses. After announcement of the results, counselling takes place for allotment of institutions to the exam qualifiers.
At least 15% seats in government medical colleges in whole India are reserved for candidates who qualifies this examination. Not to mention, it is one of the most hard to crack examinations in the nation. Seats for medical colleges in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir states aren’t filled through this test.
Eligibility Criteria for AIPMT 2016
Case 01: Students who are currently pursuing the class 12th or the ones whose result is awaited, are also eligible to take part in this national level test. But such candidates won’t be considered eligible for admission to the M.B.B.S or B.D.S courses, if they don’t clear the 12th standard exams with the minimum required percentage of marks during the first phase of counselling.

Case 02: Candidates from state boards or ISC boards are also eligible to take this test. But they must have 11th and 12th class from medical stream i.e having Physical, Chemistry and Match (PCM) as main subjects including the practical tests. Age Condition: Age of eligible student who is interested in this test, must have age between 17 years to 25 years. Age limits for candidates who comes from SC / ST category is maximum of 30 years.
AIPMT Fee / Mode of Payment: It consists the application fee of Rs. 1200 for General / OBC category candidates which is non-refundable. Additionally Bank Charges need to be paid by the candidate for fee processing. Candidates coming from SC / ST / PWD category to pay Rs. 650+processing fee at bank.
Candidates have both mode of fee payment available for paying the exam fee. Either they can pay the fee online through debit card, credit card or net banking or by taking the printout of online generated e-challan & paying the fee at listed banks in the notification.
