The commencement of Himachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test 2017 completed on September 03, 09, and September 10, 2017. The test was conducted course-wise on various dates by Board of School Education, Himachal Pradesh. The officials keys are now available for most of the tests.

HP TET Cut off: Candidates scoring the minimum required marks shall be given the valid score card. This card (TET certificate) is valid for 7 years from the date of the result release. The cutoff for the teacher eligibility tests is 60% i.e 90 marks out of 150 marks. There is the exemption of 5% marks for SC / ST / PWD aspirants, they need to obtain 83 marks.
- PRT (JBT) TET: For Class 1st to class 5th teachers eligibility.
- TGT TET: For Class 6th to class 8th teachers eligibility.
A few mistakes in HP TET TGT (Arts) Question Paper
The board of school education, Himachal Pradesh couldn’t manage to stay away from the controversies. The “C” Series question paper of TGT (Arts) had three questions asked twice. Candidates found themselves in confusion while taking the view at the HP TET paper.
The maximum number of the candidates were from TGT. On Sunday, the morning shift exam took place at 138 venues which was attended by 38,000 candidates. The evening shift test was conducted only at 53 centers where 5,000 candidates were present.
The board has been notified about the mistakes found in HP TET question paper of TGT examination. The HPBOSE Chairman acknowledged the matter and said to provide the grace marks to TGT (Arts) C Series candidates.

On September 15, 2017, The Himachal Board of School Education will issue the provisional HP TET key answers for the tests held on September 03 and 09, 2016. The provisional keys will be available for Language Teacher (L.T), JBT, and Shastri Examination. Within 2-3 days, the solution for TGT examination will be uploaded too.
You can download series wise (Series A, Series B, Series C, Series D) answer keys for HPTET 2017. If you have the objection regarding any wrong answer mentioned in these keys, kindly send it to Assistant Officer of Paper Setting Branch by September 24, 2017. The objections won’t be accepted after this date.
